IFS & Addiction Workshop
A trauma-informed pathway to understanding and healing addictive systems in your clients

An Introduction To Internal Family Systems (IFS)
This one-day online workshop equips clinicians, wellness professionals, and therapists with the tools to move beyond managing behaviours, to deeply work with the parts, stories, and systems beneath addiction. Through IFS, you'll learn to see addictive patterns as protective strategies, open pathways toward compassionate change, and hold space for durable transformation.

-
IFS-based techniques you can integrate immediately into your practice.
-
Greater clarity in mapping client parts, protectors, exiles, and the addiction system.
-
Compassionate tools to reduce shame, isolation, and cycles of relapse.
-
A professional lens to support clients to reclaim agency and connection within their inner world.
I’m Angela M. Carter, level three IFS therapist and advanced IFIO couples therapist, trauma therapist, HeartMath® trauma practitioner, and somatic practitioner. Over three decades of practice, I’ve worked with clients in profound recovery from relational and systemic wounds.
I bring both clinical insight and lived compassion to this training. My role is not to lead you by command, but to guide you with presence, clarity, and deep respect for your evolving path as a clinician.
